Thanks to all those who participated in the interesting discussion last week on conversion of a credit card. Just as a final follow-up, Stephen Watterson has mentioned to me that a number of issues discussed on the list were canvassed in an article he and Amy Goymour published last year, "Testing the boundaries of conversion: account-holders, intangible property and economic harm" [2012] LMCLQ 204. I have now read  it and can confirm that pretty well all the issues discussed were dealt with in the article, which is a really valuable source for further thought on these issues.
