Dear colleagues
We are delighted to announce a conference to be held on 20 September 2013 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of
Waltons Stores (Interstate) v Maher.
The conference is a collaboration between UTS Law Faculty (Dr Allison Silink) and the Journal of Equity. The conference will explore the scope, influence and controversies of
Waltons Stores and the place of promissory estoppel in private law.
Speakers include: Prof Michael Bryan (Melbourne), Prof Joe Campbell QC (Sydney), Prof Ben McFarlane (UCL) and Prof Andrew Robertson (Melbourne).
