Some of you might be interested in the following story from the CBC:

A juror in an infamous and grizzly Ontario criminal law case is claiming that she suffered PTSD from being a member of the jury. She claimed compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and her claim was denied. There is now
an appeal pending at the Ont CA. It appears that the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board decision relied on the Alcock factors in denying compensation.
