Next year I will be teaching a seminar entitled "Foundations off the Common Law." I'm planning on introducing basic theoretical debates in torts, contracts, and property, basically a kind of introduction to private law theory course.

If anyone in the list had taught a similar course and would be willing to share their syllabi with me, I would be very grateful. I'm just curious as to what sorts of reading you might asign.
