Subject: Nordic Tort Law
It struck me that maybe this was something that might be of interest also to some of the members on this list.
In January (10-11) Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law will hold a conference on Nordic Tort Law, for which I am responsible.
During the first day we will hear lectures on topical issues, for instance on the relationship between the European Human Rights Convention and tort law and new developments in damages for discrimination. The second day will be devoted to presentations of research projects carried out by junior researchers.
The language of the conference is, mainly, “Scandinavian”: Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. This probably excludes most of the ODG-members but I know that some of you speak one of the Scandinavian languages.
If anyone is interested and wants to hear more, please contact me privately.
