Following
on from the earlier call for papers, I am happy to announce that we have
finally finalised the programme for the upcoming 'Charting the Future of
Private Law in Aotearoa New Zealand Symposium' to be held at the University of
Otago, Faculty of Law on Monday 10 February 2025. You will see that we have a
fantastic lineup of speakers and chairs, including several OGDers. Justice
Kós will be giving the keynote speech entitled 'Judicial Review of
Discretionary Powers in Contract and Trust' and we have a wide line up of other
speakers from all over talking about pretty much every area of private (and
even public) law and then some.
It's
an in-person only conference, so I appreciate for many of you it will be a few
too many hours flying, but for those of you who are in the region, or really
like flying (or both), I've attached a copy of the programme. Please also RSVP
