Dear
colleagues:
The
next session of the Tort Law and Social Equality Project Speakers Series takes
place virtually over Zoom on Friday, March 21 at 12:00-1:30 pm EST. Cristina
Tilley, who is a 2024-2025 Princeton University Center for Human Values
Fellow in Law and Normative Thinking, will speak on how originalist
interpretive methodologies reveal that at its inception American tort law was
concerned with promoting social justice.
Cristina
will speak for about 45 minutes after which there will be a Q&A
period. The Zoom link is copied below, and a poster for the talk is
attached with further information.
Please share
this notice widely, and I hope many of you are able to attend!
