Subject: [RDG] Repayment of compensation money

Dear Colleagues;
While it does not contain any particular high-level reasoning, the case of Glad Cleaning Service Pty Ltd & Anor v Vukelic [2010] NSWSC 422 http://www.lawlink.nsw.gov.au/scjudgments/2010nswsc.nsf/6ccf7431c546464bca2570e6001a45d2/011c445e57f26b98ca25771c00065770?OpenDocument  seems to me to provide an interesting example of restitution as a sort of "paradigm" case- social security recipient, paid a large lump sum by mistake of an insurance company, when the company should have sent the money to the government to repay it for social security payments previously received. The lady was required to pay the money back, with interest.
Regards
Neil Foster
