Subject: | [RDG] Special leave application in Grimaldi refused |
Those list members who have a fascination with proprietary remedies may be interested to know that the High Court refused an application for special leave to appeal in
Grimaldi v Chameleon Mining NL, a case which approved Attorney-General for Hong Kong v Reid [1994] 1 AC 324 and declined to follow the English Court of Appeal in
Sinclair v Investments (UK) Ltd v Versailles Trade Finance Ltd [2011] EWCA Civ 347.
Results of the relevant special leave application here: (http://www.hcourt.gov.au/assets/registry/special-leave-results/2012/17-08-2012ResultsSyd.pdf)
