Subject: | [RDG] RDG: new book on history of unjust enrichment |
RDG readers may be interested in the following book which has just been published by Mohr Siebeck:
Jansen, Nils: Theologie, Philosophie und Jurisprudenz in der spätscholastischen Lehre von der Restitution
[Theology, Philosophy and Jurisprudence in the Late Scholastic Doctrine of Restitution. Non-Contractual Obligations in the Early Modern Discourse on Natural Law. Published in German]
Nils Jansen draws a comprehensive picture of the late scholastic doctrine of restitution in 16th century Spain and explores the question of why this theory did not become part of the secular natural-law discourse, although European law still seems heavily influenced
by this theory.
