I write to congratulate Birke Häcker, currently Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance and also a Fellow of All Souls, who has been appointed Linklaters Professor of Comparative Law at Oxford University. When she takes up the chair she will be a fellow of Brasenose College.She is preceded in this prestigious chair by such outstanding jurists as Stefan Vogenauer, Bernard Rudden, Barry Nicholas, and Sir Otto Kahn-Freund.Congratulations Birke!Lionel
