There are two postdoctoral fellowship opportunities currently available at Melbourne Law School: the University of Melbourne’s McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Melbourne Law School Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Fellows will be employed at Level A6 (approx. AUD $84,000 p.a.) for three years (McKenzie) or two years (MLS). McKenzie Fellows will receive a $25,000 research project fund for the duration of their Fellowship; MLS Postdoctoral Fellows will receive $15,000. Fellowships commence in the period 1 January to 30 June 2017 (and preferably before 31 March 2017).

The Fellowships are open to recently graduated PhD students of any nationality. Applicants must have been awarded their PhD from 1 January 2014.

Please note that the Melbourne Law School Postdoctoral Fellowship is open to all PhD graduates including the University of Melbourne, whereas University of Melbourne PhD graduates are ineligible to apply for the McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowship.
