Although many RDG members will have read the news, on the ODG or elsewhere, I am delighted to announce that Mr. Justice James Edelman has been named to the High Court of Australia. He is known, by reputation or personally, to everyone who works in the law of unjust enrichment, for the excellent quality of his scholarly contributions.

This is wonderful news for Australia, for the common law, and for private law.
