Subject: | [RDG] Essays in Honour of Professor George Gretton |
Dear colleagues,
The Edinburgh Law School has announced the upcoming publication of a book of Essays in Honour of Professor George Gretton:
http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/other_areas_of_interest/support_the_school/essays_in_honour_of_professor_george_gretton
George is one of the outstanding comparative lawyers of his generation, having an enviable mastery of multiple European legal orders and languages. He has made particularly enduring contributions in relation to the law of property, in a broad sense that includes succession law, trusts, and secured lending, and he has also produced very insightful scholarship on the law of unjust enrichment.
George retired last July and some of his former students have organized this collection of essays, which will be published next December. The book is being partly funded by subscription, and the
web page allows you to subscribe, which will secure your copy and your name on a list of subscribers to be published in the book.
I invite you to join me in saluting an excellent scholar and a wonderful person.
Yours,
Lionel
