Subject: | [RDG] new articles, and an updated archive |
Members may be interested in two articles recently circulated by Steve
Hedley’s Private Law Theory blog and by SSRN:
Jonathan Silver, “Rethinking Restitution: Will Unjust Enrichment Lawyers Join In?”
Rory Gregson, “Is Subrogation a Remedy for Unjust Enrichment?” (2020) 136 Law Quarterly Review 481 (abstract only on SSRN, full text available via Westlaw).
Steve Hedley has also updated his archive of the RDG at
https://www.ucc.ie/academic/law/restitution/rdg_admin/2020lis.htm
The listserv software on which the RDG runs also generates an archive, which is online here:
https://lists.mcgill.ca/scripts/wa.exe?A0=ENRICHMENT
However (a) this only goes back to 2000, when the list was moved to McGill, whereas Steve’s goes back to day 1 in 1995; and (b) the McGill IT people have changed the accessibility of the server
over the last few months. They made it accessible only within McGill or through McGill VPN, for security reasons. I have explained to them that this makes the archive unavailable to non-McGill members. I
think the server is now open to all, although I am waiting to be told whether this is a temporary (covid) thing..
Cheers to all,
Lionel
