Hello to all, and welcome to new subscribers!

I mentioned some time ago that the transition from a list server in Edmonton to one in Oxford is not going as smoothly as I thought. We are still running in Edmonton, although my email account there has been terminated. This means that any error messages are not getting to me. If you have some difficulty, email me directly at <lionel.smith@law.ox.ac.uk>. Since my filespace on the Edmonton server vanished along with my email account, the "get" function is also currently inoperative.

I believe, however, that the list itself is still running, and your receipt of this message will confirm that.
