From Emily Sherwin via Andrew Kull comes a very interesting item from yesterday's Times, at least the online version:

Thief stole debit card and made bets on the ponies; winnings deposited directly to the victim's bank account! A bit like Jones v Jones but without any need for litigation.

By the way I have also learned that Andrew has moved from Emory to Boston University. Atlanta's loss is Boston's gain.
