Re:
BAILII Open Law - your input requested

As this may benefit us all, may I request that relevant RDG readers respond directly to the request below?

FDR

Dear Colleague,

I'm writing to you in your capacity as a Society of Legal Scholars subject group convenor or deputy convenor. This is a mail about the BAILII Open Law project.

We aim to digitise core legal judgments and law reports and for the first time make them freely and openly available on the internet. The database we are constructing is intended to support teaching and learning in universities and FE colleges so we are seeking your help with identifying useful content. We need your input on which cases we should consider for inclusion in the database. We will try to include those most requested by colleagues.

We would be very grateful if you could circulate the attached letter to your subject group members and also your colleagues in your university or college department.

Details are provided in the attached letter of how to contact us and also how to let BAILII know which cases you consider worthwhile adding to the database.

Please let me know if you have any enquiries.

Regards

Jenny Burnett
